SRV®5 Analysis tools: For a deeper and faster understanding in all analysis stages

The OCA basic software for operation, control and analysis
OCA software is an integral part of our technology platform and is delivered with all test systems. Also includes basic evaluation functions. In the case of oscillation, for example, this involves friction coefficients; in the case of rotation, it involves friction torque and friction force.

Measurement channels
Over 40 measurement channels in 64-bit resolution provide the raw data for extensive analysis functions.

HRA High Resolution Signal Analysis
HRA provides 64-bit resolution for relevant measurement channels. Data with HRA quality provide deep insights into tribosystem processes.

Automated evaluation assistance through TriboProfiling®

The aim of the TriboProfiling® analyis method is obtaining metadata on a tribological system via dimension-reduced result quantities. Hence TriboProfiling® results are fundamentally different from customary tribometer results. They are no longer merely measurements or coefficients but describe mechanisms or characteristics which can be observed in tribo-systems.

Result quantities and evaluation methods

The TriboProfiling® Software only uses result quantities from the original data pool of a test. No intermediate values are created nor is there a corruption of raw values.

Gaining Knowledge by Secondary Tribological Quantities

By logical linking, secondary tribological quantities are calculated from primary measuring and result quantities. By means of rules and algorithms, tribological effects are recognized online while the test is in progress.

At the end of the test, consolidated result quantities from variables and measured values will be received. Depending on the goal of the analysis, these result quantities can be mean or total values, fluctuation margins, rates of change or evaluation sizes for the statistical measurement error over the entire test duration.

A report is generated summarizing the principal results of the test. All data are saved. If the focus of the analysis is to be changed subsequent to testing, this too can be done very easily.
